Romance on a Budget: Go on a Picnic
February 1, 2011 by Lori Mitchell
Go on a picnic. I am on a fairly tight budget right now, as is the man in my life. We still manage to have some very romantic dates. Most cities have some sort of website that lists activities going on in their area. I know in Sacramento we use Sacramento365.com and I always click on the “Free” tab. During the Christmas holidays we saw the lighted boat parade. If you can’t find a free event, just go for a walk in a park or along a reservoir, or a drive into the country. Take along a picnic. Take a blanket and a picnic basket. When we went to the lighted boat parade, we took a thermos of my delicious homemade tomato soup, a thermos of grown up hot chocolate (hot chocolate made with a splash of butter rum, it can also be made with peppermint schnapps, or whatever flavor you enjoy mixed with chocolate), crackers and cheddar cheese. We snuggled, snacked and enjoyed the romance of the lighted boats. buy drugs online no prescription Since I already had the ingredients cheap cialis tablets for the picnic at home, this cost of this date was the little bit of gas it took us to drive the 3 or 4 miles to the river to watch the boats. You are only limited by your imagination as far as destination and menu.

Sounds like fun… Love the cheese and crackers idea!
Thanks Janet! We have a lot of fun around here. I live so close to the River that we do a lot of this kind of thing.
