I realize this vacation idea is for the Central San Joaquin Valley in California but you could probably find something similar in your area.

There are two really cool and nearly free drives throughout the Valley. The first is the wine trail. It is just what it sounds like.

Even if you aren’t in California, it is possible to find trails that are specific to your area or just take a nice drive through the country. It’s the alone time looking at nature’s beauty or tasting nature’s bounty that makes this the perfect romantic destination.
