Stories from Home: Celebrating 50 Years

This past week has been busy. Since my boss was out of town for a few days, I spent those days working really long hours trying to organzie his office. He is still trying to find everything I put away, but I hope he will discover that the neater, less cluttered office will be a more comfortable work environment for him.

We are having a party for them on Saturday, so I’ll be back in Chowchilla for the weekend. I don’t think my mom reads this, so I can say here, that my aunt, uncle and cousin from Texas are flying out to surprise them at the party. All of my dad’s remaining siblings will be there and I’m hoping all of my mom’s sisters will be there as well. I’m really looking forward to spending the time with friends and relatives.
